All skin check appointments with Dr Daniel Ong will incur a private fee of $135, with a rebate of $73.95 from Medicare.

Payment is required on the same day as your appointment.

Cancellation fee of $15 for standard appointment and $30 for long appointment applies to all Saturday appointments and on weekdays if less than 2 hours notice given.

Bulk-billing will apply to the following patients, however Saturday appointments will be charged the private fee and skin checks will incur a fee of $135.

  • Children under 16 years of age
  • DVA patients, concession, pension, health care card holders
  • At doctors discretion

OSHC Student - $15 gap payment is required at each appointment.


Is parking available?

There is ample of street parking. Disabled parking opposite surgery is also available. We are a short stroll from Booth Street.

Is bulk billing available?

We bulk bill children under 16 years of age, pensioners and full-time students.

Do you treat skin cancer?

We have cryotherapy and offer skin cancer check.

Do you do contraception procedures?

Yes, we can insert and remove Implanon. We also provide specialised Mirena insertion in-house.

Is home visit available?

Yes, we provide home visits for all our patients that have difficulties coming to surgery. Minimum charges for travel/ time allowance charges apply.

The practice charges a $200 out-of-pocket fee for a 30 minute consultation at the patient's home for patients who have not visited the practice in over 12 months.

How do I collect test results?

Please discuss with your regular doctor for your results. In line with best clinical practice, this generally requires a face-to-face appointment to answer all your questions. Receptionists do not have confidential details on patients and are not trained to give medical results casually over the telephone.

How do I get medical certificate?

This is a legal document issued after a medical consultation. For legal reasons, we are not authorised to back-date medical certificates. Please seek your doctor's permission for this legal document if needed.

What is ambulatory care?

We can provide early discharge from hospital with intravenous (IV) injection for pneumonia, cellulitis and infected wound. This will allow you to enjoy family and home environment without prolonged stay in hospital. Obviously we are only able to help if the treatment is therapeutic and you are continuing to get better. Consult with your specialist for follow-up plans.
